Privacy notice

This notice explains how Baxter Park Bowling Club (“the club”, “we”) uses personal information collected through this website.

What we collect

When you send a membership enquiry or a message, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and message.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange a visit or taster session. Your enquiry is emailed to the club and stored securely in the website’s admin system, where only authorised committee members can see it. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else and we do not use them for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them and delete them when they are no longer required.

Cookies

Our own website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Committee members who sign in to the admin area receive one essential cookie to keep them signed in.

The map on our Contact page is provided by Google, which set their own cookies and may use them to track you. They load only if you accept cookies in the banner, or choose to show them where they appear. Your choice is saved in your browser only and you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Please email secretarybpbc1@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
